We can arrange deer stalking and we have our own fly fishing lake.
Pony trekking can be arranged.
If you are interested in walking, there are lots of walks in the area and we can point you in the right direction.
Local Attractions
We are ideally placed for visiting many of the local attractions and are very central to local Yorkshire racecourses.
We are situated 5 miles from the market town of Thirsk. Markets are held every Saturday and Monday (including Bank Holiday Mondays.)
Thirsk is home to the James Herriot Museum. 
Kilburn which is 5 minutes away is home to the infamous Mouseman Museum.
Castle Howard is about 30 minutes away.
Malton is home to Eden Camp – a unique museum that will transport you back in time to wartime Britain.
York is home to York Minster, York Dungeons, Castle Museum, Cliffords Tower and lots of shops!
